David has specialized in AI research since 2019, producing work at the intersection of AI and society

He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa, where he researches the social and political effects of artificial intelligence. He is a member of the Center for Tech Law and Society, as well as the Critical Surveillance and Security Lab, where his work on AI has been recognized with numerous awards.
